Emily Seale-Jones is a British/ Cape Malay writer, director, and actress. Her work includes the short film ‘Husk’, sold to Little Dot Studios (nominated for Best Director and Best Actress at Underwire Film Festival), BAFTA-nominated short film ‘Ralph’, a two-time winner at SXSW Film Festival (Grand sfsg Award and Audience Award) at the Oscar-qualifying film festival SXSW ‘Play It Safe’ (and VIMEO ‘Staff Pick’). And feature film ‘To Tokyo’ which was sold to, and distributed internationally by Amazon and iTunes (winner for Excellence in Acting at Orlando Film Festival)

Emily was commissioned by Comedy Central to create an original short-form series ‘Back to Brunch’. She is the creator/ writer/ director of the comedy web series ‘Frankie & Emma’ (winner of Best Comedy Web Series at DTLA Film Festival) and the comedy sketch show ‘Brunch, Bitches’ which was acquired and distributed by Funny Or Die.

Emily has written four feature-length films, one of which was developed by Blumhouse, and another was developed with A24.
